comrce cloudprint administration

The comrce cloudprint Administration is staff tooling inside the comrce cloudprint app. It works across every customer account, not inside one company. Here you look up and lock accounts and sign in as a customer user. You also send newsletters and messages and manage partner API keys. Open it with Administration in the red bar at the top.

The comrce cloudprint Administration as a Systemadministrator sees it. In the top bar, at the left, the button "Administration" is highlighted; it is the only menu entry for a staff account without a customer role, and the signed-in user jonas.becker@example.com is shown at the right. Below the heading "Adminbereich" are eight entries: "Statistik", "Accounts", "Identitätswechsel", "Newsletter", "Accounts mit offenen Rechnungen", "Kundennachrichten", "Auswertung" and "API Keys". Selecting "Administration" opens this list from any page.
Administration opens the Adminbereich, the entry to every staff screen of comrce cloudprint.

entry point of the comrce cloudprint Administration

The Adminbereich (admin area) lists one entry per screen:

  • Statistics: Statistik, the activity, page and revenue figures of the whole platform.
  • Accounts: Accounts, every customer account with its money, plan and lock state, plus the account detail.
  • Change identity: Identitätswechsel, sign in as a customer user to see what they see.
  • Newsletter: Newsletter, an email to every user who receives the chosen type.
  • Customer messages: Kundennachrichten, the pop-up messages users see after signing in.
  • API keys: API Keys, the keys partner software uses to reach the comrce cloudprint API.

Two more entries open an empty “page not found” screen. They are Accounts mit offenen Rechnungen (accounts with open invoices) and Auswertung (report). The screens behind them don’t exist in the app.

What you can do here:

  • A comrce cloudprint account is one customer company. It’s created when the company’s comrce Hub Owner signs in for the first time. Its first name is the company’s comrce Hub organization ID, and the customer can rename it later.
  • Cloudprint roles are separate from comrce Hub roles. The comrce Hub Owner becomes the comrce cloudprint administrator of the account, every other comrce Hub member becomes a member. Staff roles are explained in Staff roles and what they can do.

Two comrce cloudprint roles open the Administration: Systemadministrator and Supporter. Nobody gets them through comrce Hub. A colleague with access to the comrce cloudprint database grants them by hand to your comrce cloudprint user. They aren’t comrce Hub staff roles. A comrce Hub Supporter has no access here without the comrce cloudprint role.

The same "Adminbereich" for a user with the comrce cloudprint role Supporter, signed in as sabine.krueger@example.com. Only three entries are listed: "Accounts", "Identitätswechsel" and "API Keys". The entry "Identitätswechsel" is highlighted; it opens the search for signing in as a customer user. The entries Statistik, Newsletter, Kundennachrichten, Accounts mit offenen Rechnungen and Auswertung are missing, because they show only for a Systemadministrator.
A Supporter sees three entries, Accounts, Identitätswechsel and API Keys.

A few actions inside the shared screens are also for the Systemadministrator only, such as deleting an API key. Each page lists them under “Who sees what”. Customers never see Administration. A customer who opens an admin address gets an empty screen. The app refuses every request without one of the two roles.
