The Languages page lists every language the comrce Hub interface offers. As a Super Admin, you add and remove languages here. Corrected texts reach users at their next page load. Open it from Languages, the last entry in the left sidebar.

Its heading reads Translations, and its tab Translations.

The Languages screen of the comrce Hub admin console, opened from "Languages" at the bottom of the left sidebar; the tab and the heading both read "Translations". At the top right are the buttons "Update translations" and the highlighted "Add language". The table lists seven languages sorted by code with the columns Code, Display name, Updated date and Delete: de German, en English, es Spanish, fr French, it Italian and nl Dutch each show the date of their last import and an arrow button that opens the published file, while pl Polish shows a dash because no file has been imported for it yet.The Languages screen of the comrce Hub admin console, opened from "Languages" at the bottom of the left sidebar; the tab and the heading both read "Translations". The import replaces the whole file of each imported language. The rules are in Adding a language and importing translations.

  1. Select Delete in the language’s row.
  2. Confirm in the dialog Delete translation with Delete.

Why does the sidebar say Languages and the heading Translations?

Section titled “Why does the sidebar say Languages and the heading Translations?”

The sidebar entry, the heading and the tab of this page use different labels. In English the sidebar reads Languages and the heading Translations. It is one page under Languages.

Only staff with the Super Admin role. Other roles see no sidebar entry. Through a direct link they see the message You do not have permission to view this page..

Which language does a new account start in?

Section titled “Which language does a new account start in?”

The language the registration or invitation page was shown in. That page follows the browser’s language when the language is listed here, and English otherwise. A language added but never imported counts as listed, so such users see English texts until its column is imported. Users change their language on their Settings tab.

What does a dash in the updated date column mean?

Section titled “What does a dash in the updated date column mean?”

The language was added, but no CSV file with its column has been imported yet. Users who choose it see English texts. Import a file with a column headed by its code to give it texts.

Why does the add dialog accept en-US when the import does not?

Section titled “Why does the add dialog accept en-US when the import does not?”

The add dialog allows regional and three-letter codes, but the import accepts only two-letter column headers. Use two-letter codes such as pl. Otherwise the language can never receive texts through the import.

The buttonUpload stays disabled until you choose a file with Choose file. While an upload is running, the dialog buttons are disabled as well.

Why did the date of my language not change after an import?

Section titled “Why did the date of my language not change after an import?”

Its code was not added before the import, or its column was missing from the CSV file. The import reports success even when columns are skipped. Add the language under Languages and import again.

Where can I see the current texts of a language?

Section titled “Where can I see the current texts of a language?”

The arrow at the end of an imported language’s row opens its published text file in a new browser tab. Languages that were never imported have no arrow, because no file exists yet.

What happens if I delete a language by mistake?

Section titled “What happens if I delete a language by mistake?”

The language and its files are gone at once. Add it again and import a CSV file with its column. Users who had chosen it see English in the meantime. Texts that existed only in the deleted file cannot be recovered.
