Partner page editor

For: comrce staff who run the Marketplace, and Marketplace partner usersRequires: The Admin, Super Admin or Marketplace Editor role; Marketplace Partner for own partnersScreenshots show sample data

A partner page decides whether a seller gets in touch, and this editor fills it. You set the logo, about text, category and compatible tools, a list of facts and highlight cards.

Open it from Marketplace with Content on a partner row. The tab is named after the partner, for example Steuerkontor Hansen Page. Partner users open only the pages of partners they own.

What you can do here

  • Upload the partner’s logo. A square PNG or JPEG, saved the moment you confirm it. Upload or delete the logo.
  • Write the about text. The main description, in English. Fill the page.
  • File the partner under filters. One category and any number of compatible tools, used by the sellers’ Marketplace filters. Fill the page · Create or edit a filter.
  • List important facts. Label and value rows such as Response time: Within one working day, each shown or hidden on its own. Info rows.
  • Add highlight cards. Cards with a title and a text. Cards.

Fill the page

Section titled “Fill the page”
  1. Write the English about text: what the partner does, for whom, and what a seller gets. It is required.
  2. Choose the Category, for example Tax advisor. It is required, and a partner has exactly one.
  3. Tick every tool the partner works with under Compatible with, for example Amainvoice and Billbee.
  4. Add rows under Important info with Add row. Add cards with Add card.
  5. Select Save page. "Partner page saved." appears, and the tab closes.

Category, compatibility, info rows and up to four cards make up the partner page. Each row and card has its own visibility switch.

Purpose
Everything on the partner page sellers open

Example: Steuerkontor Hansen has the category Tax advisor and works with Amainvoice and Billbee. It lists Languages: German, English and Response time: Within one working day. Minimum term stays hidden for now. Three cards show OSS returns included, Fixed monthly fee and Personal contact.

Saving drops rows without label and value, and cards without title and text. Card slots are renumbered in the order shown, and their translations move with them.

  1. Select Upload logo, or Change logo when a logo exists. The dialog Upload partner logo opens.
  2. Choose a PNG or JPEG file with Choose logo image. Or paste an image address under Paste image URL and load it.
  3. Drag the image into place in the square frame. The Zoom slider enlarges it up to three times.
  4. Select Save. The logo uploads at once, and "Partner logo uploaded." appears.

Logos are cropped square and saved as soon as you confirm the crop. Reset on the page does not undo them.

Purpose
Cropping a partner logo before upload

The logo must be a PNG or JPEG of at most 8 MB, 8,192 pixels per side and 16 megapixels. The file name ending must match the format inside: .png for PNG, .jpg or .jpeg for JPEG. An address must be http or https and deliver a PNG or JPEG.

The logo keeps the original’s format, and photos are turned upright. Hidden metadata such as camera data is removed.

When comrce Hub refuses an image, the dialog stays open and shows the reason in red:

The image could not be loaded from this URLThe address did not answer within 10 seconds, redirected more than three times or returned an error. Or more images loaded from addresses in one minute than allowed (10 by default). Wait a minute and try again.

Any other failure, such as a lost connection, shows "Failed to upload logo.".

Delete logo asks "Delete partner logo?". The dialog explains: "The partner will fall back to initials until a new logo is uploaded." Confirm with Delete. Logo changes do not wait for Save page, and Reset does not undo them.

Why does the editor say I should save the partner first?

The partner page editor shows this message when it cannot load the partner. Someone deleted it, or you are a partner user and it belongs to someone else. Reload the overview. Or ask someone with the Admin, Super Admin or Marketplace Editor role to make you its owner.

Can I write the about text in German?

Section titled “Can I write the about text in German?”

No. The editor takes English only. Other languages for the about text, info rows and cards come from the Marketplace translations CSV. Sellers using German see the English text wherever a German one is missing.

How many info rows and cards can a partner have?

Info rows have no fixed limit. Each needs a label of up to 80 characters and a value of up to 360. A partner can have four cards. Each has a title of up to 80 and a text of up to 600 characters.

Why is a category missing from the list for a partner user?

Partner users only see visible filter options, plus the ones already assigned to their partner. A hidden category does not appear for them until someone switches it to visible.

What happens to a partner when its category is deleted?

The assignment goes with the filter option, so the partner has no category any more. The next time anyone saves the page, the editor asks for a category again. A category is required.

Logo and saving

I uploaded a new logo and then pressed Reset. Why is the new logo still there?

The logo card saves uploads and deletions as soon as you confirm them. Reset only restores the text fields, filters, rows and cards. It cannot bring back the old logo.

PNG and JPEG files of at most 8 MB, 8,192 pixels per side and 16 megapixels. Choose a file with Choose logo image or load it from an http or https address.

WebP, GIF, SVG and animated images are refused. So is a file whose name ending does not match its format. A PNG logo stays a PNG, and a JPEG logo stays a JPEG.

Why does the logo dialog show a red message instead of uploading?

comrce Hub refused the image and names the reason in the dialog of the logo card. The dialog stays open, and nothing was uploaded, so the old logo stays. Choose a fitting PNG or JPEG and select Save again.

Why did saving fail although every field looks fine?

Most often an info row has a value but no label. Every row with content needs a label. The editor then only shows a general error. Add the missing label or clear the row’s value, and save again.

Do sellers see hidden info rows and cards?

No. Hidden rows and cards stay in the partner page editor and in the translations. Sellers see them only after you switch them back on and save.
