Marketplace

Everything sellers find in the comrce Hub Marketplace comes from one place: Marketplace. Here you manage the sections, services and partners, the filter options sellers use, and every Marketplace text in every language. Sellers’ Marketplace page and each partner’s page show exactly what you set here.

Think of the content as a tree with three levels:

  • A section groups services, for example Tax and accounting.
  • A service groups partners, for example VAT registration abroad.
  • A partner is one provider with its own details and partner page.

Filter options sit beside the tree.

The Marketplace area of the comrce Hub staff console, opened from the Marketplace entry in the left sidebar. Under the heading Marketplace, a counter line reads "3 sections, 5 services, 5 partners, 8 filter options". A row of buttons follows: "New section", "New service", "New partner", "New filter option" and the highlighted "Translations", which carries a blue dot because one language is incomplete. Below starts the tree sellers browse: the section card "Tax and accounting" with its counters and the service "VAT registration abroad" with the tags Tax and OSS. "Translations" opens the per-language status and the CSV download. The Marketplace area of the comrce Hub staff console, opened from the Marketplace entry in the left sidebar. Marketplace translationsPer-language completeness, CSV download and CSV upload
  • English is the source. Every editor form takes English text only. Other languages come from the translations CSV. Translating the Marketplace.
  • Keys never change. Each item’s key comes from the first title you give it in English, for example vat_registration. The key stays when you rename the item. It identifies the item’s texts in the translations CSV.
  • Sellers see a filtered Marketplace. Hidden items, empty sections and services without partners do not reach them. Managing Marketplace content.
  • Visitors see the same Marketplace. A Marketplace link opens without an account, with the same content. Visitors sign in to install a partner. Managing Marketplace content.
  • Ownership. A partner can have one owner, a user with the Marketplace Partner role. What Marketplace partners manage themselves.
  • Super Admin, Admin and Marketplace Editor see Marketplace in the sidebar and can change everything in it.
  • Marketplace Partner sees the same entry, but only the partners they own. Someone with one of the three roles above makes them the owner first.
  • Supporter, Partner and News Editor do not see the entry.
