“I never got the email” is a two-click fix here. The Invites screen lists every hub team invitation that nobody has accepted yet, open or expired. Here you resend an invitation or delete an expired one.

Open it with Pending invites at the top right of Hub Team. New invitations are sent from the team screen (Give a new colleague access to the admin console).

  • See who has not accepted yet. One row per invitation, newest first, with role, creation date and expiry. Expired dates are red. The screen at a glance.
  • Find an invitation. Search the email addresses and filter by role. Find an invitation.
  • Resend an invitation. This sends the email again and gives the link a fresh validity, also for expired invitations. Resend an invitation.
  • Delete an expired invitation. This frees the email address for a new invitation. Delete an expired invitation.
The Invites screen of the Hub Team, opened in a tab titled "Pending invites", signed in as a Super Admin. Above the table are "Search by email" and the role filter set to "Any". Six invitations are listed with Email, Role, Creation date, Expiration date and Actions, newest first: lea.fischer@example.com (Supporter), eva.koch@example.com (Admin) and jan.schneider@example.com (Marketplace Partner) are still open and have only "Resend Invite"; clara.neumann@example.com (Partner), moritz.weber@example.com (News Editor) and ida.wolf@example.com (Marketplace Partner) have expired, so their expiration dates are red and they also have a red "Delete" button. The Invites screen of the Hub Team, opened in a tab titled "Pending invites", signed in as a Super Admin. The tab is called Pending invites. An invitation leaves this list the moment it is accepted. The person then appears in the team list.

Type part of the email address into the search field. Every word you type must appear in the address. Choose a role in the role filter to see only invitations for that role. When you arrive from Search in invites instead on the team screen, both are already filled in.

  1. Select Resend Invite in the invitation’s row.

  2. Confirm with Yes, resend.

The confirmation dialog "Resend Invite?" that opens from "Resend Invite" on the row of lea.fischer@example.com. The text reads "Are you sure you want to resend this invite? This will send a new email to the invited user." The buttons are "Cancel" and the highlighted "Yes, resend". The link in the earlier email works again too, because it is the same link. Resending an expired invitation makes it open again.

Delete appears only on rows whose expiry date is red. Confirm in the dialog Delete expired invitation? with Delete.

The confirmation dialog "Delete expired invitation?" that opens from "Delete" on the expired invitation of clara.neumann@example.com. The text reads "This expired invitation will be permanently removed." The buttons are "Cancel" and the highlighted confirm button "Delete". Purpose
confirmation before deleting an expired invitation

An expired invitation still blocks a new invitation for the same email address. Delete or resend it before you invite the person again.

Where

In every row, in the Actions column. It asks for confirmation.

What

Sends the invitation email again with the same link and restarts the validity, as in Resend an invitation. This works for open and expired invitations. On failure, the toast Failed to resend invite appears.

Why

Invitation emails land in spam folders, and people go on holiday. Resending is quicker than inviting again.

Where

Next to Resend Invite, only on expired rows. It asks for confirmation.

What

Removes the expired invitation for good and refreshes the list. The toast is Expired invitation deleted.. comrce Hub refuses to delete an invitation that has not expired.

Why

Expired invitations block the email address. Deleting them is the way to start over with a different role.

Where

Next to the search field. Screen readers announce it as Filter by role.

What

Any shows every invitation. The other options are the six roles you can invite. Only Super Admin is missing. Each shows only invitations for that role. For a Marketplace Editor, the filter is locked to Marketplace Partner.

Why

See all open invitations for one role at once.

The Invites screen as the Marketplace Editor lukas.hartmann@example.com sees it. The role filter "Filter by role" next to "Search by email" is greyed out, fixed to "Marketplace Partner", and highlighted. The table lists only the two Marketplace Partner invitations: jan.schneider@example.com, still open with "Resend Invite", and ida.wolf@example.com, expired with a red expiration date and both "Resend Invite" and "Delete". A team invitation is valid for seven days after it was sent. Each Resend Invite starts a new seven-day period from that moment. This also works for expired invitations.

Section titled “The person says the link in the email has expired. What do I do?”

Open the invitations with Pending invites on the team screen, find the email address and select Resend Invite. The person gets a new email, and the link works again.

No, comrce Hub sends the same link again and extends its expiry. The link in the earlier email also works again. The role of the invitation does not change.

Why is someone I invited missing from this list?

Section titled “Why is someone I invited missing from this list?”

The person has already accepted and now appears in the team list. Or someone deleted the expired invitation. A Marketplace Editor also sees only invitations for Marketplace Partner.

comrce Hub deletes invitations only after they have expired. For an open one, the delete button is hidden. To stop an open invitation from being used, wait until it expires, then delete it.

I invited someone with the wrong role. How do I fix it?

Section titled “I invited someone with the wrong role. How do I fix it?”

Let the person accept, then change the role on their team member page. Or wait until the invitation expires, delete it and invite the address again with the right role. An existing invitation blocks a new one.

Only a Super Admin, an Admin or a Marketplace Editor may open the invitations screen. A Supporter or Partner gets a no-access card instead.

Why does the tab say Pending invites when it shows expired invitations too?

Section titled “Why does the tab say Pending invites when it shows expired invitations too?”

The tab title and the heading are two different labels in comrce Hub. The screen lists every invitation nobody has accepted: open ones, and expired ones with a red date.

SymptomWhat to check
Failed to resend inviteYour role may not manage this invitation, or it was accepted meanwhile. A Marketplace Editor only manages Marketplace partner invitations. Reload the tab.
Failed to delete expired invitation. The invitation has not expired yet, or someone else resent it meanwhile.
The person never got the emailCheck the address for typos, then resend. If the address is wrong, wait for expiry, delete the invitation and invite the correct address.
