Working with news
One article reaches every seller in comrce Hub, in their language, on the day you choose. You write it under News in the staff console. Typical articles cover product updates, new Marketplace partners and webinars. Each article has one text per language, one publish date and at least one category. You can archive it and bring it back later.

The News area opens on the list of active articles. Each task has its own page:

What you can do here
Section titled “What you can do here”- Write and publish an article in several languages. English is the source, and each language is published on its own. Publishing news.
- Schedule an article. A publish date in the future keeps it hidden until that day. Write or edit an article.
- Archive, restore or reuse an article. Archived articles leave the sellers’ News, and you can restore or copy them. News articles and categories.
- Organise articles in categories. Sellers filter News by category. Create or edit a category.
- Check what sellers see. Preview shows an article in the selected language. News articles and categories.
- Announce something to every seller, start to finish. Tell all sellers about something new walks you from the category to the preview.
Concepts to know
Section titled “Concepts to know”- Per-language status. Every language of an article or category is either Draft or Published. Sellers never see drafts. Publishing news.
- English fallback. Sellers whose language is not published see the published English text instead.
- One date for the article. All languages share one publish date.
- Archive. A separate list. Archived articles are hidden from the sellers’ News.
Who can use this
Section titled “Who can use this”- Super Admin, Admin and News Editor see News in the sidebar. All three can write, publish, archive and delete articles and categories.
- News Editor as the only console role opens the console straight on News.
- Every other staff role sees a no-permission page instead.
